An investigation is underway after a fatal house fire in Kincardine claimed the life of a man, Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) confirmed on Friday.
Fire and Emergency Response
Emergency crews responded to the blaze at a residential property on Thursday evening. The fire was brought under control, but one person was found deceased inside the home. The victim has been identified as a local man, though his name has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
OPP Investigation
The OPP is leading the investigation with assistance from the Office of the Fire Marshal and the local fire department. Authorities are working to determine the cause of the fire, which is not considered suspicious at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
