This vibrant community fosters learning, mentorship, and significant artistic growth. A total of 21 participating schools are set to present plays and musicals designed to captivate and inspire local audiences throughout the coming months.

The heart of every Cappies show beats thanks to the dedication of countless individuals. It is driven by the students themselves—actors, technicians, directors, dancers, singers, and critics—whose curiosity and commitment infuse every production with thoughtfulness and creative vigour.
These young artists are guided by a strong network of support. Teachers from multiple school boards, including the Ottawa Carleton District School Board, Ottawa Catholic School Board, Upper Canada District School Board, and Western Quebec School Board, along with staff from independent schools, are directing productions and mentoring the next generation of critics.
Beyond the classroom, the program relies on an army of volunteers, mentors, family members, and behind-the-scenes supporters. Their donated time and energy are the essential foundation that makes each student production possible, ensuring every performer and crew member has the platform to shine.
