Sex Pistols Announce Rescheduled Tour Dates with New Frontman Frank Carter

The iconic punk band the Sex Pistols, now featuring vocalist Frank Carter in place of Johnny Rotten, have officially announced rescheduled North American tour dates for 2026. This follows the postponement of their originally planned 2025 tour due to guitarist Steve Jones sustaining a broken wrist.

Toronto and Montreal Shows Confirmed for September 2026

The band will perform at Toronto's History venue on September 21, 2026, with an additional Canadian date scheduled for September 22 at Montreal's L'Olympia. These concerts are part of a broader tour celebrating fifty years of punk music, kicking off on September 11 in Dallas and concluding on October 18 in Los Angeles.

Originally, the Sex Pistols were set to play Toronto on October 1, 2025, but all North and South American dates were cancelled before any shows could take place. With Jones now fully recovered, the band is moving forward with their long-awaited performances.

Steve Jones Provides Health Update and Tour Details

In a recent statement, Steve Jones addressed his recovery, saying, "Mr. Jones here with an update on my wrist, I think it's good enough to do the upcoming tour, now if I can just stop my legs from buckling up, I think I'll be in good shape." Jones also referenced past tensions with Johnny Rotten, stemming from a legal dispute over the use of the band's music in the 2022 television series Pistol, directed by Danny Boyle.

The touring lineup includes original members Steve Jones on guitar, Paul Cook on drums, and Glen Matlock on bass, alongside Frank Carter, known for his work with Gallows and Frank Carter and the Rattlesnakes.
