Toronto is set to host a spectacular celebration of musical excellence as the Glenn Gould Prize Gala honoring British music icon Elton John approaches. New Additions to the Prestigious Event
Emmy-winning actor Eric McCormack, best known for his role in the beloved television series Will and Grace, has been confirmed as the host for this prestigious evening. Meanwhile, celebrated Canadian singer-songwriter Sarah McLachlan and the National Ballet's principal dancer Noah Parets have joined the lineup of performers who will pay tribute to Elton John's legendary musical catalogue.

The lineup includes jazz pianist and vocalist Diana Krall, recent double Juno winners The Beaches, acclaimed singer-songwriter Ron Sexsmith, tenor and composer Jeremy Dutcher, rising pop/neo-soul artist LOONY, and Ryan Wang, who was named the BBC's 2024 Young Musician of the Year.
The evening will also feature a special performance by acclaimed mezzo-soprano Emily D'Angelo, who was personally selected by Elton John to receive the Glenn Gould Protégé Prize.
