Ansu Fati Launches Music Career with Music Brokers

FC Barcelona forward Ansu Fati, currently on loan at AS Monaco, has officially launched his music career by signing a long-term agreement with Music Brokers. This makes him the first player in the history of the Catalan club to pursue an official music career. His debut single, titled “Sea Como Sea,” is scheduled for release on Friday, June 19, 2026, with global distribution handled by The Orchard, a subsidiary of Sony Music.

A New Chapter for Ansu Fati

Fati’s journey into music began during his recovery from a knee injury in 2020, when he started writing songs. The project gained momentum after his move to AS Monaco in July 2025, where he frequently visited the studio of producer Gambinoalaprod. The collaboration with Music Brokers was natural, as co-founder and CEO Federico Scialabba was involved in the production of the debut single alongside Gambinoalaprod and Adrián Ayerbe. The production team worked across Nice, Madrid, and New York, accompanying Fati from his earliest studio sessions.

Behind the Scenes

The single was mastered by Fernando Álvarez at 440 Mastering, and the cover art was created by Federico Dell’Albani. Scialabba commented: “For us, opening the catalogue with Ansu is a natural decision: the project fits exactly what the label does best, which is supporting the careers of artists with their own voice — artists who are disruptive and who bring a different perspective from day one.”

Fati expressed his enthusiasm: “Signing with Music Brokers means giving a formal name to something that had been happening privately for years. It took me a while to make the decision, but Federico was there in the sessions and knows the songs from the inside. As I always say: I like to express what I live.”

Musical Fusion

“Sea Como Sea” is a fusion of three distinct musical styles that reflect Fati’s biography: the Afrobeats of his native Bissau, the Reggaeton of Andalusia where he was raised, and the South African Amapiano that has redefined global music in recent years. This blend creates a unique sound that sets Fati apart as an artist.

Parallel Success

In the 2025/2026 season with AS Monaco, Fati has regained his top sporting form, scoring 10 league goals in just 965 minutes — second only to Ousmane Dembélé. Now, alongside his football career, he embarks on his official path as a music artist.
