Gordon Gerrard is passing the baton after 10 years as music director and conductor of the Regina Symphony Orchestra. His final scheduled appearance takes place Saturday night at the Conexus Arts Centre.

1. RSO’s Echoes of a Decade

Before moving on to pursue other musical interests, Gerrard is saying farewell with a classical program titled Echoes of a Decade. The show is described as “a stirring sendoff to our beloved Maestro,” marking “a momentous occasion marking the close of an extraordinary chapter in our orchestra’s story.” Internationally acclaimed Canadian violinist Timothy Chooi joins the orchestra for a celebratory performance. 2. RLT Centennial Gala

Regina Little Theatre (RLT) celebrates its 100th anniversary with “an evening of pageantry, performance and nostalgia” on Saturday night at the Performing Arts Centre. “You only turn 100 once, so we’re making it as special as it deserves to be,” said president John Chaput. The program includes musical numbers, scenes from memorable RLT shows, a video montage, a salute to alumni, and the premiere of “Stolen Holiday” by Marion Young. 3. Tribute Concerts

The Incredibly Hip presents “the ultimate tribute” to The Tragically Hip on Friday night at the Casino Regina Show Lounge. Formed in 2014, the band honors the legacy of the iconic Canadian rock group. On Sunday night, the Legendary Patsy Cline Show featuring Amberley Beatty brings the spirit of the country music legend to life.
