Travis Kelce is embracing the social media buzz surrounding his wedding to Taylor Swift. On Thursday, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end publicly responded to an AI-generated image from the ceremony posted by comedian Bert Kreischer on Instagram.
In the image, Kreischer, dressed in a black suit, is seen standing between Kelce and Swift. Kelce wears a similar black suit in the doctored photograph, while Swift holds a bouquet of flowers and wears a long-sleeve wedding gown. “The moment @jason.kelce called me over to the bar for a shot,” Kreischer captioned the post, tagging Kelce’s brother, Jason Kelce. The groom-to-be reacted to the post Thursday by commenting with a string of crying-laughing emojis.
Wedding festivities at Madison Square Garden
Kreischer posted the AI image ahead of the couple’s rumored rehearsal dinner at Infosys Theater, located on the premises of Madison Square Garden in New York, where Swift and Kelce are slated to tie the knot Friday. A city permit for Swift and Kelce’s wedding festivities noted that 100 guests would be in attendance for the “pre party celebration” at Madison Square Garden at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, according to The Associated Press.
The AP and multiple other outlets also reported that up to 1,000 guests could attend the MSG wedding, with Page Six reporting that a slew of celebrities, including Swift’s pals Selena Gomez and Gigi Hadid, were invited.
Relationship timeline
Kelce and Swift first confirmed their romance in October 2023 and later announced their engagement in August 2025 in an Instagram post. “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,” the couple captioned the post alongside photos of them showing off Swift’s engagement ring from the proposal in a garden full of flowers.
