Savannah Guthrie returned to social media on Sunday with a heartfelt Father's Day tribute to her husband, Mike Feldman, calling him "our hero" as the search for her missing mother, Nancy Guthrie, continues.
The NBC Today host shared a photo on Instagram of Feldman snuggling with their two children, daughter Vale, 11, and nine-year-old son Charley. "Happy Father's Day, @feldmike," she wrote alongside a heart emoji.
Recent Joyful Posts Amid Ongoing Search
Guthrie's recent Instagram activity has included several lighthearted posts. Earlier this month, she shared a rainy-day taping of the morning show, where she and her co-hosts welcomed singer Niall Horan. A few days before that, she celebrated National Best Friends Day by swapping shoes with Jenna Hager.
However, much of her other recent social media activity has been tied to her mother's disappearance. Nancy Guthrie, 84, was reported missing on Feb. 1 after she was taken from her home in Tucson, Arizona. The search remains active, with authorities following leads, including an anonymous tip about a possible grave in Mexico.
Mother's Day Tribute to Nancy Guthrie
In May, Savannah honoured her mother with a Mother's Day post, sharing video footage of happier family times. "Mother, daughter, sister, Nonie – we miss you with every breath. We will never stop looking for you. We will never be at peace until we find you," she wrote on Instagram.
She added: "We need help. Someone knows something that can make the difference. Call 1800CALLFBI. You can be anonymous and the reward remains available. Please keep praying. Bring her home."
Feldman also shared his own Mother's Day tribute to his wife, calling her "the strongest person I know" and posting a photo of Guthrie with their children, accompanied by a broken heart emoji between two heart emojis.
Savannah and Mike's Love Story
The couple first met at Feldman's 40th birthday party in 2008 and began dating in 2009. Initially, marriage seemed uncertain. "It got to the point where no one thought we were ever going to get married — including us, especially including me," Guthrie said during an April 2019 episode of Today, according to People.
She recalled telling Feldman that she would end things if he couldn't decide on marriage. Later that day, as the sun was setting, he proposed with a bottle of champagne. Guthrie said yes after thinking "for about .2 seconds." Feldman proposed in 2013, and the couple married in March 2014.
