Princess Eugenie Expecting Third Child with Husband Jack Brooksbank
Princess Eugenie Announces Third Pregnancy

Princess Eugenie has announced she is expecting her third child with husband Jack Brooksbank. The British royal shared the news on her Instagram account on Monday, posting a picture of her two sons, August, 5, and Ernest, 2, holding a sonogram image. The caption read: "Baby Brooksbank due 2026!"

The royal family confirmed the news in a statement on X, writing: "Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie and Mr Jack Brooksbank are very pleased to announce that they are expecting their third child together, due this summer. August and Ernest are also very excited to have another sibling join the family. His Majesty The King."

Return to Social Media

This post marks Eugenie's first return to social media following a scandal involving her father, Prince Andrew, and his relationship with the late convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. The recently released Epstein files named both Andrew and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson, Eugenie's mother, leading King Charles to strip Andrew of his titles and evict him and Sarah from their royal home in October.

Low Profile Maintained

Since the scandal, Eugenie and her sister Beatrice, 36, have maintained a low profile, skipping several royal family events, including Kate Middleton's Christmas carol service and the royal family's Easter Sunday service at St. George's Chapel in Windsor.

On February 19, Andrew was arrested for alleged misconduct in public office in connection with forwarding confidential trade documents to Epstein but was released a few hours later.

Celebrating Husband's Birthday

Eugenie also celebrated her husband's 40th birthday on Instagram Stories, sharing photos of him lying on a beach and the couple smiling together in a desert at sunset. The two met at Andrew's 50th birthday in the Swiss Alps in 2010 and married eight years later at Windsor Castle.
