Two men and a woman have been charged in connection with four assaults that occurred in a home in Stanley Mission last week, according to an RCMP update provided late Friday. The charges include forcible confinement, aggravated assault, and robbery related to the stabbings on April 30.

Details of the Charges

The accused are a 26-year-old woman, a 29-year-old man, and a 31-year-old man. Police stated that no risk to public safety has been identified following the incidents. The 29-year-old accused was also wanted on a Canada-wide arrest warrant for being unlawfully at large and is currently being treated in hospital, having not yet appeared in court. The other two accused were scheduled to appear in La Ronge provincial court on Monday. All three remain in custody.

Sequence of Events

RCMP received a report around 10:15 a.m. on April 30 that a 26-year-old man had been stabbed and was seriously injured. Upon arrival at the medical clinic, officers were notified of another stabbing involving a 29-year-old man at a house on Charles Street. Subsequently, two more victims—a 52-year-old man and a 35-year-old man—arrived at the clinic separately. Police determined that all four assaults occurred at a second house on Charles Street.
