Days after Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce tied the knot, Megyn Kelly has voiced a new set of grievances about the famous couple's nuptials. During Monday's episode of 'Piers Morgan Uncensored,' Kelly expressed sympathy for the pop star following her marriage to the Kansas City Chiefs tight end in a July 3 ceremony at Madison Square Garden.
Kelly's Critique of the Wedding
Kelly called out the elaborate wedding, which caused significant traffic disruptions during the holiday weekend, after host Piers Morgan questioned if it was 'a bit OTT (over the top).' 'I really think she's empty inside,' Kelly said. 'I think most people who seek fame at a very early age, like in their teens, are chasing after some sort of fullness that wasn't provided by their family of origin for whatever reason, and it never comes.'
The former Fox News host argued that early stardom can lead to 'a lifelong pursuit' because 'fame and money, adoration from strangers, does not fill that void.' 'Only [she], God and your immediate loved ones can,' she added.
Guest List and Officiant Under Fire
Kelly then complained about the lengthy guest list at the couple's wedding, which reportedly included many Hollywood stars such as Brad Pitt and Ryan Reynolds. 'Who has a 1,000-person wedding?' she questioned. 'Maybe, maybe she does have that many friends and family, I don't know, you know, like if you're Italian, you've got non-stop relatives, you could get to 1,000 pretty quickly — which she's not [Italian].'
She also griped about actor Adam Sandler officiating the ceremony. 'How did that come about?' she asked. 'Oh, we're told by the papers that Travis and he were in 'Happy Gilmore 2' together. When was 'Happy Gilmore 2' made? 2025. ... I'm sure they go way back.'

'It's a bit weird, these kind of weddings, where any celebrity you can think of walks up for your most private nuptials,' Morgan replied. Last week, Kelly called Swift and Kelce's decision to wed at MSG 'so gauche' and 'attention-getting' while speaking with Daily Mail columnist Maureen Callahan.
