Kris Jenner is setting the record straight regarding speculation that she is dissatisfied with her recent facelift procedure. On Wednesday's episode of her daughter Khloé Kardashian's podcast, "Khloé In Wonder Land," Jenner addressed the gossip head-on.
Denying the Rumors
"The headline right now is that I hate my facelift and I'm furious at my doctor Steven Levine, which couldn't be further from the truth," Jenner stated. She labeled the narrative a "flat-out lie" and expressed her frustration: "I'm upset that people are saying I'm furious with my doctor and [that] I'm blaming him for this facelift that completely fell apart, which no and no. The only reason to even bring it up or say anything about it is because it's really hurting someone else."
Defending Her Surgeon
The mother of six explained that while she has "pretty thick skin" and can typically handle public criticism, she felt compelled to speak out because the rumors were affecting another person. "I love him, and I think he's a genius, and I think he's one of the most talented doctors I've ever been to," she said of Dr. Steven Levine. "I love my facelift. I adore my doctor. I'm obsessed with him. One of the most talented, amazing men I've ever met."
Jenner continued to praise Levine, noting that he "really put his heart and soul into what he did for me and what he does for any other patient that he has." She added, "He's the nicest man in the world with the biggest heart. And he's so smart and so meticulous. He's an artist, and he really does a great job with all of his patients."
Previous Comments on the Facelift
Jenner had previously discussed her facelift in an interview with Vogue Arabia in August. She revealed that she first underwent the cosmetic procedure "about 15 years ago" and described her latest surgery as a "refresh." "I decided to do this facelift because I want to be the best version of myself, and that makes me happy," she explained. "Just because you get older, it doesn't mean you should give up on yourself. If you feel comfortable in your skin and you want to age gracefully — meaning you don't want to do anything — then don't do anything. But for me, this is aging gracefully. It's my version."
