Calgary's Telus Spark Science Centre is set to host an immersive new exhibit that brings one of the most famous dinosaurs to life. Officials announced that 'Sue: The T. rex Experience' will open to the public, offering a multi-sensory journey through the world of the Tyrannosaurus rex.
Immersive Dinosaur Experience
The exhibit, developed by the Field Museum in Chicago, features Sue, the largest and most complete T. rex skeleton ever discovered. Visitors will engage with the dinosaur through sight, sound, smell, and touch, creating a lifelike encounter. The experience includes life-sized animatronic models, interactive displays, and fossil replicas.
Educational and Interactive
Telus Spark officials emphasize the educational value of the exhibit, which aims to teach visitors about paleontology, dinosaur behavior, and the prehistoric environment. The experience is designed for all ages, with hands-on activities and immersive storytelling.
Calgary residents and tourists alike are expected to flock to the science centre for this unique opportunity. The exhibit will run for a limited time, and tickets are already on sale. For more information, visit the Telus Spark website.
