A Grade 12 student from Simcoe County has gained national recognition for her artistic talent. Kaitlyn Hewett was awarded first place in the Senior Colour Poster category of the Royal Canadian Legion's annual art contest. Her winning artwork will be displayed across the country, bringing her creative vision to a wide audience.
Recognition from the Legion
Members of the Barrie Legion Branch 147 presented Hewett with her award in a ceremony celebrating her achievement.
