Calgarians of all ages are encouraged to get in a little 'Reading in the Wild' late next month. The event, hosted by Wordfest, will take over Central Memorial Park on the evening of June 20, 2026. Central Memorial Park will transform into a literary haven from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on June 20. Participants are invited to bring their own books or borrow from a selection provided by Wordfest. The evening will include readings by local authors, storytelling sessions, and interactive games. Snacks and refreshments will be available from nearby vendors.
