The ExploreSask photo contest has officially returned for 2026, offering photographers a chance to showcase the beauty of Saskatchewan. The contest, which has become a beloved annual tradition, invites amateur and professional photographers alike to submit their best images capturing the province's landscapes, people, and culture.
Grand Prize and Categories
The grand prize winner will have their photo featured in ExploreSask's tourism marketing campaigns, along with a cash prize. Categories include People and Places, Wildlife, and Night Skies, among others. Last year's grand prize and People and Places winner was an image taken at Twin Shores Lodging at Bird's Point by Lindsey MacLeod.
How to Enter
Participants can submit up to five photos online through the ExploreSask website. The contest runs until September 30, 2026, with winners announced in November. All entries must be taken in Saskatchewan and submitted in high resolution.
