Collège Boréal's Massage Therapy program has been awarded preliminary national accreditation by the Canadian Massage Therapy Council for Accreditation (CMTCA), following excellent results in all evaluation areas. This accreditation attests to the outstanding quality of the program's training and its compliance with the profession's most rigorous standards.
Accreditation Highlights Program Excellence
The CMTCA accreditation underscores the program's adherence to the highest national standards for massage therapy education, particularly regarding the quality of its facilities, teaching practices, curriculum relevance, and student preparation for professional demands. The review committee identified several key strengths, including a rigorous approach to safety and hygiene in clinical learning environments, a comprehensive policy manual for the student clinic, and an extensive inventory of resources for faculty, staff, and students.
According to Paulette Bonin, Vice-President, Academic at Collège Boréal, "This recognition from the Canadian Massage Therapy Council for Accreditation confirms the excellence of our program and our teams’ commitment to delivering health education backed by outstanding support. Congratulations to all our staff, who work tirelessly to provide Boréal students with high-quality education that is recognized by various accrediting bodies and fully aligned with labour market needs."
