The older driver was recorded traveling at 171 km/h while the younger motorist reached 180 km/h. Both received immediate consequences for their actions, including significant financial penalties and demerit point assessments.

Approximately two hours after the initial incident, officers intercepted a 23-year-old motorist traveling at 188 km/h in a 70 km/h zone on a Highway 640 service road in Rosemère. Police noted the driver attempted to evade detection by turning off his vehicle's headlights during the pursuit.
This driver received a single citation for $2,147 along with 24 demerit points and a seven-day license suspension.
Repeat Offender Faces Enhanced Penalties
The final intervention occurred around 3 a.m. when officers stopped a 31-year-old driver traveling 165 km/h in a 70 km/h zone on the service road of northbound Highway 15 in Laval. Police records identified this individual as a repeat offender for excessive speeding violations.
As a result, this driver faced enhanced penalties including:
- A 30-day license suspension
- Immediate vehicle seizure
- Additional fines beyond standard speeding penalties
