Prince Edward Island experienced the steepest drop, with regular gasoline down 4.1 cents to 150.3 cents per litre in Charlottetown. Diesel decreased by 3.3 cents to 156.2 cents per litre.

Factors Behind the Decline

The price decreases are attributed to a combination of lower global crude oil prices and increased refinery output in the region. Analysts note that seasonal demand shifts and stable supply chains have contributed to the downward trend.

Motorists are advised to fill up now, as prices may fluctuate in the coming weeks depending on global market conditions and local taxes.
