VR Resources Advances New Boston Project with Completed Bonding Process

VANCOUVER, British Columbia – VR Resources Limited has achieved a significant milestone in the development of its New Boston polymetallic porphyry project in Nevada. The company announced on March 26, 2026, that it has successfully completed the standard reclamation bonding process with the Nevada Bureau of Land Management for its Notice of Intent drill permit. This crucial administrative step was finalized within ten business days of the permit issuance, allowing concrete planning for a spring drill program to proceed immediately.

Strategic Drilling Targets at Jeep Mine

The reclamation bonding covers eight potential drill sites in the Jeep Mine area, located in the western section of the extensive porphyry system. This system features sheeted and stockwork veins exposed on the surface at New Boston, stretching over a strike length of three to four kilometers. All designated sites benefit from direct road access, facilitating logistical operations. The primary objective of the upcoming approximately 1,500-meter drill program is to test newly identified IP and conductivity geophysical anomalies at Jeep Mine.

Specifically, the drilling will focus on areas where these geophysical attributes coincide, which are interpreted as the potential sulfide center of the large-footprint vein and alteration system. This target represents what could be the core of the Cretaceous porphyry-skarn system visible at the surface.

Company Leadership and Geological Context

Dr. Michael Gunning, Chief Executive Officer of VR Resources, expressed appreciation for the efficient handling of the permit and bonding process by the BLM. With these formalities completed, the company is enthusiastic about initiating detailed plans for the drilling campaign later this spring. The geological setting at New Boston is characterized by intense stockwork veining and hydrothermal alteration within Triassic limestone host rock, resulting from Cretaceous intrusion and mineralizing events.

Recent site activities included a planning trip with prospective drill contractors, where a roadside outcrop at the collar area for the first planned hole was examined. This location showcases sheeted and stockwork quartz veins, with pervasive retrograde alteration of scheelite and garnet, along with iron oxide clots after sulfide grains in vein interiors. The veins and quartz monzonite dykes extend approximately 2,100 meters eastward from this point.

Program Objectives and Future Prospects

The goal of the drilling program is straightforward: to conduct first-pass drilling across the large-footprint moly-tungsten-copper-silver porphyry and skarn system, building upon work started in 2024 at the East Zone. Previous intersections at East Zone revealed long sections of continuous stockwork veining with copper and silver mineralization. The company believes that the coincidence of IP and conductivity attributes at Jeep Mine provides a vector toward stronger vein intensity and sulfide concentration.

This could potentially lead to more robust polymetallic intersections, including molybdenum and tungsten in addition to copper and silver. VR Resources has made available two on-site field videos from last month on the New Boston Project page of its website, offering further insights into the project's geology and exploration activities. The completion of the bonding process marks a pivotal step forward in unlocking the mineral potential of this promising Nevada property.
