Major Gold and Antimony Discoveries in Pilbara Region
Novo Resources Corp. has announced significant exploration results from its Pilbara project portfolio in Western Australia, revealing strong gold findings from the Teichman area and high-grade antimony intercepts from the Sherlock Crossing prospect. The company provided this update on November 11, 2025, highlighting promising developments across multiple exploration targets.
Teichman Area Reveals Extensive Gold Potential
Mapping and geochemical sampling across the Teichman area within the Egina Gold Camp has identified multiple prospects spanning an impressive 1.3 by 2.5 kilometer area. The region shows particular promise along two main shear corridors, with the Teichman area situated directly south of the Novo-Northern Star Resources Egina Farm-in and Joint Venture.
Rock-chip assay results from Teichman have delivered exceptional numbers, including peak values of 77.5 grams per tonne gold and 51.4 grams per tonne gold. Even more impressive, 11 out of 87 samples collected graded above 10 grams per tonne gold, indicating substantial high-grade mineralization. The area displays complex geological structure, multiple vein arrays, and intense alteration patterns that typically accompany significant gold deposits.
Sherlock Crossing Delivers High-Grade Antimony Intercepts
Drilling at the Sherlock Crossing prospect has yielded equally exciting results, with a standout intercept of 3 meters at 2.96 grams per tonne gold and 1.86% antimony from 108 meters depth in drill hole LCR0005. This intercept included an even higher-grade section of 1 meter at 7.71 grams per tonne gold and 4.77% antimony. Company officials note that the mineralized system remains open at depth, suggesting potential for expanded resources with additional drilling.
The Sherlock Crossing results are particularly significant because antimony has become increasingly valuable due to its critical role in flame-retardant materials, electronics, and renewable energy technologies. The combination of gold and antimony creates a potentially valuable multi-commodity deposit.
Future Exploration Plans and Joint Venture Activity
Access has been finalized for follow-up mapping and sampling at the Wyloo antimony-silver-gold prospect, scheduled for late 2025. This work will help plan drill targets for the first quarter of 2026. Meanwhile, Northern Star Resources continues exploration on the Egina Joint Venture, focusing on three tenements of the Mallina Project and targeting the Croydon Anticline.
Mike Spreadborough, Executive Co-Chairman and Acting Chief Executive Officer of Novo Resources, expressed enthusiasm about the results. "The team is extremely pleased with the early-stage results from exploration work completed at the Teichman area and drilling at Sherlock Crossing," he stated. "The geological work at Teichman has highlighted several exciting prospective drill targets with complex geology and structure. Drilling at Sherlock has provided a significant gold-antimony intercept which is part of a much larger system and highlights the complexity of high-grade vein systems."
The company plans to continue progressing key work activities in preparation for a possible maiden drill program at Teichman while further investigating the full gold and antimony potential of the Sherlock Crossing prospect.
