Fury Gold Mines Limited has announced encouraging results from its 2025 exploration drilling program at the Committee Bay project in Nunavut's eastern Kitikmeot region. The company completed six diamond drill holes totaling approximately 2,778 metres during this year's campaign.
Three Bluffs Expansion Shows Promise
Four drill holes targeting the Three Bluffs Shear Zone successfully intercepted gold mineralization across an impressive 315 metres of strike length, with mineralized widths reaching up to 19.5 metres. The most significant result came from Hole 25TB155, which returned 5.73 grams per tonne gold across 3.0 metres within a broader interval of 1.18 g/t gold over 19.5 metres.
According to Tim Clark, CEO of Fury, the 2025 exploration drilling successfully extended mineralization at Three Bluffs and validated the Raven Target. "We are encouraged by the results encountered this year and believe that there is good potential to further expand the known gold zones at Committee Bay," Clark stated.
Raven Target Demonstrates Potential
The remaining two drill holes tested the southern contact of the 8-kilometre long Raven Shear Zone, which has historically produced impressive intercepts including 12.60 g/t gold over 5.49 metres and 31.1 g/t gold across 2.8 metres. Hole 25RV015, positioned 330 metres from previous drilling, intercepted 4.59 g/t gold over 1.5 metres, confirming the zone's continuity.
The Raven Target already has documented outcropping gold mineralization defined over 1.4 kilometres, making it a significant exploration opportunity for the company.
Three Bluffs Resource Background
The high-grade Three Bluffs Gold deposit sits centrally within the Committee Bay project and contains substantial established resources. Current estimates indicate 524,000 ounces of gold in 2.1 million tonnes at 7.85 g/t gold in the indicated category, plus an additional 720,000 ounces in 2.9 million tonnes at 7.64 g/t gold in the inferred category.
The 2025 drilling program specifically targeted a sub-parallel shear zone as well as the iron formation itself. All four drill holes intercepted broad zones of sulphide bearing silica-sericite alteration within sheared metasediments. The mineralization discovered runs parallel to the over 4-kilometre long Three Bluffs Gold deposit.
The company noted that Hole 25TB155 ended in mineralization due to drilling complications, suggesting even more potential remains untested. The 2025 results demonstrate that the sheared metasediments are mineralized across broad widths and significant strike extent, providing clear vectors for future drilling to target higher grade zones within the shear zone.
