Brixton Metals Announces Record-Breaking Silver Intercepts at Langis Project in Ontario
VANCOUVER, British Columbia – Brixton Metals Corporation (TSX-V: BBB, OTCQB: BBBXF) has released its second batch of 2026 drill results from the wholly owned Langis Silver Project, located in the historic Cobalt silver mining camp of Ontario, Canada. The company reports exceptional high-grade silver intercepts, marking a significant milestone in its exploration efforts.
Extraordinary Drill Results Highlight Silver Potential
The 2026 drill campaign, totaling 7,510.25 meters over 39 holes, has yielded remarkable findings. The standout result comes from hole LM-26-305, which represents the best silver intercept in company history in terms of grade-thickness. This hole returned 18.2 meters of 3,638 grams per tonne (g/t) silver from a depth of 113.8 meters, including an exceptional 6.8 meters of 9,421 g/t silver from 121.2 meters depth.
Additional significant results include:
- Hole LM-26-307: 13.6 meters of 367.0 g/t silver from 118.4 meters depth, including 4.1 meters of 930.2 g/t silver.
- Hole LM-26-302: 9.0 meters of 406.9 g/t silver from 116 meters depth, including 0.5 meters of 2,930 g/t silver.
These results come from drilling conducted south of the Shaft 6 area, where previous exploration identified silver mineralization primarily hosted in vertical, dilatant zones and shear veins as native silver.
Company Leadership Expresses Enthusiasm
Gary R. Thompson, Chairman and CEO of Brixton Metals, stated, "We are delighted to report the second batch of drill results from the Langis 2026 drill program. We were confident that we would hit some high-grade silver given the previous drilling at Langis this year, but these results are extraordinary. The results from hole 305 are more than two times greater than any previously drilled intervals at Langis."
Thompson emphasized the unique attribute of visible native silver in core samples and announced expansion plans: "Given these results, we intend to add a second drill in May to increase our drill density at Langis."
Project Details and Geological Context
The Langis Silver Project is situated approximately 500 kilometers north of Toronto in Ontario's Cobalt region, benefiting from excellent infrastructure including all-season road access, power, rail connections, and proximity to a refiner. The past-producing Langis mine site forms the foundation of this exploration effort.
Geological analysis reveals that hole LM-26-305 intersected centimeter-scale silver veins with multiple mineralized intervals. The silver mineralization is largely associated with centimeter-wide native silver and cobaltite veins. Beyond the high-grade core, a broader mineralized envelope was identified, forming a lower-grade shoulder that returned a weighted average of 77 meters of 862.2 g/t silver.
Ongoing Exploration and Future Plans
Drilling continues in the Langis Shaft 6 area with a focus on expanding and infilling known silver mineralization. The company has completed 39 holes in 2026, with 9 previously released and 5 holes totaling 1,034.80 meters reported in this announcement.
The exceptional results from hole LM-26-305, particularly the visible native silver, underscore the unique characteristics of the Langis Project and validate the company's exploration strategy. With plans to deploy additional drilling equipment in May, Brixton Metals is positioned to accelerate its exploration efforts and further delineate the silver potential of this historic mining district.
