Aventis Energy Advances Corvo Uranium Project with New Permits and Exploration
VANCOUVER, British Columbia - Aventis Energy Inc. has achieved a significant milestone for its Corvo Uranium Project in Saskatchewan, having received official exploration permits that will enable extensive geophysical surveys and the company's inaugural drilling program scheduled for January 2026.
The 18-month permits authorize comprehensive work programs on the project, which is strategically positioned in the prolific Athabasca Basin region. The Corvo Project lies approximately 60 kilometers east of Cameco's McArthur River mine and 45 kilometers northeast of Atha Energy's Gemini Mineralized Zone, placing it within one of the world's most productive uranium districts.
Ground Gravity Survey Underway
Aventis has contracted MWH Geo-Surveys (Canada) Ltd. to conduct an extensive ground gravity survey covering more than 29 kilometers of conductive strike length. The survey, which mobilized to the project site on November 24, 2025, will utilize a 50 m x 200 m grid pattern and comprise over 5,000 individual gravity measurement stations.
This high-resolution geophysical survey aims to identify density anomalies that may represent hydrothermal alteration systems coinciding with uranium-fertile electromagnetic conductor trends. The data collected will help prioritize drill targets by revealing subsurface geological features associated with uranium mineralization.
January 2026 Drill Program Preparation
Following completion of the gravity survey, Aventis plans to commence a skid-assisted diamond drill program in January 2026 totaling approximately 3,000 meters of drilling. This will mark the first drilling activity on the property in over 40 years, representing a renewed systematic exploration approach using modern techniques.
The drilling will target high-priority areas including the never-before-drilled Manhattan Showing, where outcrop grab samples collected earlier this year returned exceptional uranium assays reaching a maximum of 8.10% U3O8. Additional newly identified radioactive occurrences across the project will also be tested.
Building on 2025 Exploration Success
Michael Mulberry, Chief Executive Officer of Aventis Energy, commented: "We are very pleased to have received drill permits for our Corvo Uranium Project. Receiving the permits builds on our 2025 exploration program efforts which saw a helicopter-borne Xcite time domain electromagnetic and total field magnetic survey over Corvo, equipping us with invaluable information to continue our exploration efforts."
The company's 2025 airborne survey program, conducted by Axiom Exploration Group Ltd. in partnership with New Resolution Geophysics, totaled approximately 1,380 line-kilometers with a traverse line spacing of 100 meters. This survey successfully outlined several kilometers of conductive anomalies and magnetic features in bedrock, effectively enhancing the resolution of more than 29 kilometers of conductive trends on the project.
The combination of historical data, recent geophysical surveys, and the upcoming ground gravity work positions Aventis Energy to systematically test the highest-priority targets beginning in early 2026, potentially unlocking significant uranium mineralization in this underexplored portion of the Athabasca Basin.
