International engineering consultancy Walter P Moore has taken a significant step in its global expansion strategy by establishing a new office in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This strategic move, announced on November 11, 2025, substantially strengthens the firm's footprint in the Middle East and underscores its commitment to supporting the region's ambitious development agenda.

The new Riyadh office will be spearheaded by two seasoned professionals with deep regional expertise. Ismat Abulhamayel assumes the role of General Manager, bringing over 30 years of experience in managing complex projects across sectors including airports, infrastructure, buildings, and oil and gas.
His distinguished portfolio includes leadership roles on major initiatives for Red Sea International and Saudi Aramco, encompassing airport developments, large-scale housing projects, refinery upgrades, and contributions to the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology.
Working alongside him is Tarek Ayoubi, who serves as Director of Structural Engineering. This leadership team combines profound technical knowledge with an extensive local network, positioning the office as a central hub for Walter P Moore's operations throughout Saudi Arabia and the wider region.
