Lara Trump has disclosed another way President Donald Trump has added a touch of luxury to the White House. During the latest episode of her Fox News show “My View,” the president’s daughter-in-law highlighted Trump’s fondness for gold-colored presidential medallions.
Medallions Across the White House
“The president has an affinity for these medallions,” she said, pointing out one installed on the West Colonnade. “They are all over the place,” added Lara Trump, who is married to the president’s second son, Eric Trump. “They are even in the shower if you happen to stay at the White House,” she said with a laugh.
The medallions, surrounded in gold, feature the presidential seal and what appears to be an engraving of the White House. The cost of them is unknown.
Previous Renovations
The president has already added numerous golden touches to the Oval Office, paved over the Rose Garden, and demolished the East Wing to make way for his controversial new ballroom. These changes have sparked both admiration and criticism.
Lara Trump's revelation continues to fuel discussions about the Trump administration's approach to White House decor and renovations.
