Edmonton police have charged a man in connection with nearly 100 fraudulent cell phone contracts. Quoc-Tuan Huynh, whose age has not been disclosed, is accused of orchestrating a scheme that involved obtaining multiple contracts under false pretenses.

According to investigators, the fraudulent contracts were obtained over a period of several months. Staff Sergeant Patryk Szymanski of the Edmonton Police Service stated, "This was a sophisticated operation that caused significant harm to both the companies and the individuals whose identities were stolen. We urge anyone who suspects they may have been affected to contact us."
The investigation is ongoing, and police do not rule out additional charges or arrests. They are also working with telecom providers to enhance security measures to prevent similar schemes.
