Futurpreneur has revealed the 2026 Canadian delegation to the G20 Young Entrepreneurs' Alliance (G20 YEA) Summit, set to take place in Vienna, Austria, from September 16 to 18. This year, 40 exceptional young founders from across Canada will represent the nation at the global event.
Delegation Highlights Diversity and Innovation
Following a rigorous nationwide selection process, the delegation brings together founders from eight provinces, showcasing Canada's entrepreneurial talent. More than 50% of delegates are women, and over 75% identify as People of Colour, including 40% Black founders and 5% Indigenous founders. The entrepreneurs span diverse sectors such as professional services, technology, education, manufacturing, sustainability, transportation, and health and wellness.
Summit Theme and Objectives
Hosted by the European Confederation of Young Entrepreneurs (YES for Europe), the 2026 G20 YEA Summit is centered on the theme “Re/Code Europe: The G20 Entrepreneur’s Mandate.” The event will explore how entrepreneurs can drive resilient, future-ready economies through innovation, sustainability, and global cooperation. Delegates will engage in discussions and networking opportunities focused on cross-border partnerships, market expansion, emerging technologies, and equitable opportunities for women, Black, and other equity-deserving founders.
