Endy's Journey: Simplifying Canadian Sleep with Quality and Innovation
Endy's Journey to Better Sleep for Canadians

Did you know that 48 per cent of Canadians report sleep issues? This statistic highlights the importance of a good mattress, which is more than just a background purchase. For years, buying a mattress has been a complex and uncertain process. Canadian brand Endy aims to change that by focusing on simplicity and quality from the start.

A Focus on Fundamentals

Endy president Jason Cassidy explains that the brand deliberately chose to concentrate on creating a single, well-designed mattress. This decision forced them to get the fundamentals right—comfort, durability, and value—before expanding. By refining one product, Endy built a foundation of trust and quality.

Commitment to Canadian Manufacturing

Endy prioritizes partnerships with Canadian manufacturers. Producing locally allows them to maintain high quality and consistency while supporting craftsmanship and reducing environmental impact through shorter supply chains. Van Kutrowski, manager of retail and product experience, notes that being physically present enables real-time improvements and a constant feedback loop with customers.

Expanding with Intention

Even as Endy grows its product line, expansion remains deliberate. They now offer different firmness levels and new categories like kids' mattresses, while refining features such as cooling and spinal alignment. The buying experience is also designed for convenience, with Endy being the first mattress-in-a-box brand in Canada. This model removes friction from the purchase process.

Bridging Digital and Physical Retail

As of February 2026, Endy has surpassed one million orders—roughly a mattress sold every five minutes. However, over 70 per cent of purchases in Canada still happen in-store. Endy's partnership with Sleep Country bridges both experiences, offering online ease and physical presence.

Sustainability and Longevity

Sustainability is embedded across Endy's decisions, from local production to controlled volumes and a focus on longevity. A mattress that maintains performance over time reduces waste. Endy stands behind this with a 15-year warranty. Kutrowski emphasizes that by designing thoughtfully and operating efficiently, Endy offers high-quality products at attainable prices.

Evolving Customer Needs

Canadians' sleep needs are evolving, with more seniors and multi-family living influencing preferences. Endy has expanded into bed frames, bedding, and bundled sleep sets to offer a one-stop shop for convenience. The brand remains committed to simplifying, refining, and responding to what matters most for Canadian sleep.

As Cassidy concludes, "With over a million Canadians trusting us with their sleep, we don't take that responsibility lightly. Our goal is to keep helping people wake up feeling rested, energized, and ready to Rise to Shine."
