The Vancouver Canucks have signed Abbotsford Canucks captain Chase Wouters to a one-year, two-way contract, the team announced Thursday.

Contract Details

The deal will pay Wouters $775,000 at the NHL level and $125,000 in the American Hockey League. The 24-year-old forward spent the 2025-26 season with the Abbotsford Canucks, recording 20 points (six goals, 14 assists) in 65 games.

Undrafted Signing

Originally signed as a free agent by the Canucks in 2021, Wouters has yet to make his NHL debut. The two-way contract gives him the opportunity to earn a call-up while continuing to develop in the minors.

The Canucks open training camp in September ahead of the 2026-27 season.
