Berries Mixed Week
The Saskatoon Berries experienced a rollercoaster week in Western Canadian Baseball League action. At home, they posted two wins: a 10-9 victory over the Regina Red Sox on Saturday and a 9-5 win against the Swift Current 57s on Sunday. However, earlier in the week, the Berries suffered back-to-back losses on the road, falling 7-5 to the Moose Jaw Miller Express on Friday and 8-6 to the Red Sox on Thursday. The week started positively with a 6-1 home win over the Medicine Hat Mavericks on Tuesday. A Wednesday game against the Mavericks was rained out and rescheduled for July 27. The Berries now hold a 10-4 record, placing them atop the East Division standings.
