According to police, the robbery took place at a gas station on Pembroke Street East around 3:30 p.m. on May 13, 2026. The suspect entered the store, brandished a weapon, and demanded cash. The suspect fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money. No injuries were reported.

Suspect Description

The suspect is described as a male, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall, wearing a dark hoodie, black pants, and a bandana covering his face. He was last seen fleeing on foot toward the area of Alice Street.

OPP officers, along with the Emergency Response Team and Canine Unit, are conducting a thorough search of the area. The public is asked to avoid the vicinity while the investigation is underway.
