A man has pleaded guilty to manslaughter in connection with the fatal stabbing of another man outside a pub in Metro Vancouver. The incident, which occurred in 2024, involved a dispute that escalated into violence. The accused, whose name has not been released pending sentencing, entered the plea in British Columbia Supreme Court. The victim was identified as a 34-year-old man from Surrey. The stabbing took place in the parking lot of a pub in the 7400 block of Edmonds Street in Burnaby. The guilty plea comes more than two years after the incident. Sentencing is expected to take place at a later date.
