Lethbridge Police Probe Gunshot at Week-Long Airbnb Party

The Lethbridge Police Service is investigating a gunshot incident that occurred during an almost week-long house party at a residence rented through Airbnb. According to police, the single gunshot was fired through a second-floor bedroom window of a home on Lafayette Boulevard West at approximately 1:09 a.m. on May 10.

The property had been rented for a party that lasted from May 5 until the early morning hours of May 10, when the firearm was discharged. Police reported that no individuals with injuries were found after officers entered the residence. Numerous partygoers had already left the scene before law enforcement arrived.

Evidence Points to Isolated Incident

In addition to the gunshot, police noted that bear spray had been discharged inside the home. Authorities stated that evidence to date indicates the shot fired was an isolated incident related to the house party and those in attendance.
