According to the Service de Police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM), officers responded to a call about a robbery in progress at a jewellery store on the corner of Boulevard de l'Acadie and Rue Legendre. Upon arrival, they found the store's front window shattered and a vehicle driven into the entrance. The four suspects fled on foot but were apprehended nearby within minutes. All are minors aged 15 to 17.

The SPVM stated that no injuries were reported, and the store's inventory remained intact. The suspects are facing charges of armed robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery, and mischief over $5,000.
