Collision Leads to First Arrest
A 31-year-old man from Essex was charged following a single-vehicle collision on Friday evening. Officers responded to the incident around 9:47 p.m. on County Road 50 near Shiller Beach Road in the Oxley area of Essex. No details were provided on what the driver collided with. The accused faces two counts of impaired driving and one count of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
Second Collision in Kingsville
The second collision occurred Saturday evening when a vehicle struck a mailbox on Lakeview Avenue in Kingsville. A 34-year-old Harrow man was arrested and charged with two impaired driving charges and one count of dangerous operation. No injuries were reported from either collision.
Traffic Stops Lead to Additional Charges
Three hours after the Kingsville collision, a 51-year-old Windsor man was charged with one count of impaired driving after police stopped a vehicle on Talbot Street West near Erie Street South in Leamington. The final arrest occurred just before midnight when OPP officers stopped a vehicle on Road 3 East in Kingsville. A 31-year-old Kingsville resident now faces two impaired driving charges and one charge of dangerous operation.
