Child Airlifted to CHEO After Osgoode Crash

A child was among four people injured in a serious two-vehicle collision Friday morning south of Osgoode, prompting an airlift to hospital.

Crash at Nixon Drive and Dalmeny Road

Ottawa paramedics responded to the scene at approximately 7:30 a.m. at the intersection of Nixon Drive and Dalmeny Road. The child victim was transported via Ornge air ambulance to the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO). Paramedics did not disclose the child's gender or age.

All four individuals sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries, according to paramedic spokesman Marc-Antoine Deschamps.

Investigation Underway

The crash site remained closed as of mid-morning for police investigation. Ottawa Fire Services personnel assisted victims at the scene.
