On Monday, January 20th, investigators arrested 40-year-old Amanda Audrey Nicole Crane in connection with the case. Crane now faces a charge of second-degree murder and is scheduled to appear in provincial court via closed-circuit television in Cochrane next Tuesday for her initial court proceedings.
