Three Injured, One Arrested in City Centre Avenue Altercation
Ottawa police reported that three individuals sustained injuries, and one person was arrested following a violent confrontation on City Centre Avenue in the early hours of Wednesday morning. The incident occurred in a parking lot on the 200 block of City Centre Avenue, located in the industrial area north of Somerset Street West.
Details of the Violent Incident
According to authorities, police were called at approximately 1:40 a.m. after receiving reports of five adults engaged in heated verbal exchanges that quickly escalated into physical fighting. During the altercation, two individuals were stabbed, and another was injured after being struck by a vehicle that fled the scene with three people involved in the incident.
The vehicle was located a short time later, leading to the arrest of the male driver. Police have confirmed that all injuries sustained in the confrontation are considered non-life-threatening as of Wednesday afternoon.
