Nova Scotia RCMP have laid a manslaughter charge following the death of a man in Upper Musquodoboit. The incident occurred earlier this month, and police have not released the identity of the accused or the victim pending court proceedings.
Investigation Details
Police were called to a residence on May 15 after reports of an unresponsive man. Despite life-saving efforts, the man was pronounced dead at the scene. An autopsy later determined the cause of death was not natural, leading to the manslaughter charge.
Court Appearance
The accused is scheduled to appear in Halifax provincial court on June 10. The RCMP continue to investigate and ask anyone with information to contact them or Crime Stoppers.
