Richmond RCMP investigators have set up a forensics tent at a crime scene near Brighouse Park after a man was discovered with life-threatening injuries early Sunday morning and transported to hospital in critical condition.

At approximately 3 a.m. on Sunday, Richmond RCMP officers were dispatched to the area of Brighouse Park in response to reports of a critically injured individual. First responders were already on the scene providing urgent medical assistance to the man when police arrived.
The victim was subsequently rushed to a nearby hospital where he remains in critical condition with life-threatening injuries. Following the medical evacuation, RCMP investigators established a forensics tent at the location to meticulously process what they have designated as a crime scene.
