A London woman survived a terrifying ordeal after being violently assaulted, restrained, and held at knifepoint by a man known to her in what police are describing as a brutal home invasion.
The incident occurred on Tuesday around 11:30 a.m. at a residence in the area of Trafalgar Street and Hill Street. According to London Police Service, the suspect gained entry to the home and immediately launched a physical assault against the female occupant.
The victim was allegedly tied up and threatened with a knife during the prolonged attack. Police have confirmed that the woman and her assailant were acquainted prior to the violent encounter.
