Incident Details and Response
On Monday evening, shortly before 8:30 p.m., police responded to multiple reports of gunshots in the area of Highgate Drive and Upper Centennial Parkway. Officers arrived at a townhouse complex on Highgate, where they discovered a man suffering from gunshot wounds. He was promptly transported to a hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
Investigators believe the shooting involved occupants of a dark-coloured sedan, which fled the scene immediately after the incident. The vehicle was last seen traveling eastbound on Highgate before turning southbound onto Upper Centennial.

Hamilton Police are urging residents, businesses, and motorists who were in the vicinity of Upper Centennial and Highgate between 7:50 p.m. and 8:40 p.m. on Monday to review any available surveillance footage. This includes dash-camera recordings, residential security videos, or commercial camera feeds that might provide crucial evidence.

Additional Investigation in Burlington
In a separate but related appeal, Halton Regional Police Service are searching for multiple suspects following a smash-and-grab jewelry store robbery in Burlington. The incident occurred on February 20 around 7:50 p.m. at Charm Diamond Centres in Mapleview Mall.
Four suspects entered the store and used hammers to break display cases, stealing numerous pieces of jewelry before fleeing in a waiting black Honda CRV, possibly driven by a fifth suspect. The suspects are described as males, 5-foot-5 to 5-foot-8 in height with small builds, wearing dark clothing and face coverings. No physical injuries were reported among staff or patrons.
