Major Police Operation Targets Organized Crime Network

Edmonton police have successfully dismantled the city's chapter of the One Order Motorcycle Club following an extensive 11-month investigation that culminated in coordinated raids across Alberta and British Columbia. The massive law enforcement operation resulted in multiple arrests and the seizure of significant quantities of weapons, ammunition, and illicit substances.

Massive Weapons and Cash Seizure

During the execution of search warrants on September 23, 2025, at 40 different locations, law enforcement officials recovered an arsenal of dangerous weapons and contraband. The seized items included 19 firearms, thousands of rounds of ammunition, and $118,000 in cash. Additionally, police uncovered a substantial steroid manufacturing operation and confiscated bulletproof vests, replica weapons, and 50,000 contraband cigarettes.

The investigation revealed a sophisticated pill-pressing operation in Sherwood Park that was producing massive quantities of illicit substances. Officers seized more than 82,000 pills from this facility alone, indicating the scale of the criminal enterprise being operated by the motorcycle club.

Multiple Arrests and Ongoing Investigation

Police arrested 18 individuals during the coordinated raids, with seven men now facing formal charges. Among those detained was a full-patched Hells Angels member, highlighting the connection between the One Order MC and established outlaw motorcycle gangs. Law enforcement authorities have indicated that more arrests and additional charges are expected as the investigation continues.

The Edmonton Police Service's drug and gang enforcement (EDGE) section led the investigation, describing One Order MC as a one-percenter outlaw group with close ties to the Hells Angels. The criminal network was involved in multiple illegal activities including firearms trafficking, extortion, robbery, assaults, and organized criminal operations.

Charges and Law Enforcement Response

Among those charged are Andrew Hylton, 58, of Edmonton, who faces multiple counts including conspiracy to commit firearms trafficking, participation in criminal organization activities, and instructing commission of firearms trafficking for criminal organizations. Brady Wilhelm, 35, of Sherwood Park faces seven counts of possession of a firearm for trafficking, while Robert Walsh, 47, of Ardrossan has been charged with multiple firearms and criminal organization offenses.

Staff Sgt. Marco Antonio of the EPS organized crime branch emphasized the significance of the operation, stating that this investigation represents a major step in disrupting organized crime and enhancing public safety. He highlighted the importance of multi-agency collaboration in tackling complex criminal networks that operate across provincial boundaries.

The successful operation demonstrates law enforcement's continued commitment to targeting and dismantling organized crime groups that pose significant threats to community safety throughout Alberta and British Columbia.
