Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash in Mount Forest that left one woman dead. The incident occurred on July 5, 2026, and authorities are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage.
Details of the Incident
According to police, the crash happened in the early morning hours. The victim, whose identity has not been released pending notification of family, was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene. Emergency services responded but the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
