B.C. woman missing after car found abandoned on ferry

RCMP are searching for a B.C. woman after her car was found abandoned on a ferry to Metro Vancouver. Joyelle Goldbard, whose age was not disclosed, has been missing since her orange Subaru was discovered unclaimed on a 2:35 p.m. Thursday ferry sailing from Langdale to Horseshoe Bay, according to a statement from the RCMP.

Vehicle found unclaimed on ferry

The orange Subaru was located on the ferry after it arrived at Horseshoe Bay, but Goldbard was not on board. Police have not provided details on when she was last seen or any circumstances surrounding her disappearance. They are asking anyone with information to contact the West Vancouver Police or their local RCMP detachment.

Public assistance sought

RCMP released an undated photo of Goldbard and are urging the public to come forward with any tips. “We are concerned for her well-being and are asking anyone who may have seen her or her vehicle to contact us immediately,” said an RCMP spokesperson in the release.
