Two men were shot while riding an all-terrain vehicle on a northern Manitoba First Nation, according to RCMP. The incident occurred on Tuesday, prompting a search for a suspect.
Officers responded to reports of gunshots on the Pimicikamak Cree Nation, also known as Cross Lake, around 8:30 p.m. Monday. Upon arrival, they found two men with gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported to a hospital in Winnipeg, where they remain in stable condition.
RCMP have identified a suspect and are actively searching for him. The suspect is believed to be armed and dangerous. Police are urging anyone with information to contact them immediately.
