Three individuals have been charged in Sarnia following a months-long investigation into a series of assaults, confinement, and threats, police announced Tuesday.
The Sarnia Police Service launched the investigation earlier this year after receiving reports of multiple violent incidents. Authorities allege that the three suspects were involved in a pattern of criminal activity that included physical assaults, unlawful confinement, and threats against victims.
Detectives worked diligently over several months to gather evidence and identify the suspects. The investigation culminated in the arrest of three individuals, whose names have not been released pending court appearances.
Police say the charges are serious and reflect a coordinated effort to address violent crime in the community. They emphasized that the safety of victims and the public was a top priority throughout the investigation.
The accused are scheduled to appear in court at a later date. The Sarnia Police Service continues to investigate and is asking anyone with additional information to come forward.
