Secret Service Agent Charged with Indecent Exposure

A Secret Service agent has been charged with indecent exposure after allegedly masturbating in front of guests at a Miami hotel, following his assignment providing security for President Donald Trump at a golf tournament on Sunday, according to reports.

Charges and Leave

John Spillman was charged with indecent exposure, as per jail records. He has been placed on administrative leave, CNBC reported. Secret Service chief Richard Macauley stated, “The alleged conduct is unacceptable and stands in stark contrast to the professionalism and integrity that I demand of our personnel,” in a statement to TMZ.

Details of the Incident

Spillman was reportedly part of a team guarding the perimeter of the Cadillac Championship at Trump National Doral, which hosted a PGA event for the first time in a decade. President Trump was a spectator near the 18th hole, where he gave a thumbs-up and shook hands with winner Cameron Young. Young later offered diplomatic praise of Trump at a press conference.

According to 7 News Miami, citing the arrest report, hotel guests at the DoubleTree by Hilton Miami Airport & Convention Center said they were in the lobby when the defendant followed them up. The guests then “saw the defendant masturbating next to their hotel room” and alerted security, who arrived to find him still in the act on the sixth floor.

HuffPost has reached out to the White House for comment. The accused Secret Service agent had been on the detail protecting President Trump at the golf tournament at Trump National Doral.
