Public's Help Sought in Marlborough Shooting Suspect ID

Calgary police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a Thursday night shooting in the Marlborough neighborhood. The incident, which occurred on June 18, involved two vehicles and resulted in no injuries, according to investigators.

Details of the Incident

Shortly before 9:30 p.m., occupants of a white 2010 Mazda 3 and a black Nissan Murano became involved in an interaction. An occupant of the Nissan pointed a firearm at the Mazda. The Mazda attempted to drive away but was followed by the Nissan along Madigan Drive N.E. The Nissan occupant fired shots, three of which struck the Mazda, before turning onto Manora Drive N.E. and fleeing the scene.

Occupants of the Mazda located a patrol officer and reported the incident. No injuries were reported, police confirmed.

Police Appeal for Public Help

Police have not yet identified the suspect vehicle or its occupants and are turning to the public for help. Anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage showing a white, four-door 2010 Mazda 3 or a black 2015-2024 Nissan Murano from the Marlborough areas of Manora and Maitland between 9 and 10 p.m. on June 18 is urged to contact police at 403-266-1234.
